BD and Me™ is a learning platform designed for people with diabetes who use insulin. The program is made up of a number of courses with short lessons to complete. You can work through the courses and lessons in whatever order suits you. The modules can be accessed by people with diabetes who use insulin, and healthcare professionals.

Important clinical and health education studies* have shown that tailored learning which meets  individual  needs has a much better outcome than general information given to everyone. The BD and Me™ website helps you and your nurse or doctor identify your learning needs and ensures that you have access to the information on insulin delivery  you need when and where you need it.

BD and Me™ is for anyone over 18 who has diabetes and uses insulin, as well as their caregivers, doctors, nurses and pharmacists.

To use all the features, you must be registered on the BD and Me™ website. Once you’re registered, you can track your progress, test your knowledge and be notified when new modules and activities are available. Registration is simple: all you need is a username and email address.  To learn more about our data collection policy, please see the next question.

BD takes data privacy seriously. The only personal information BD collect from users (either people living with diabetes or caregivers) is your e-mail address, which is used as the login to the website, as well as to provide anonymous questionnaires and emails about BD products and services to users who opted-in for notifications from the site. Users can opt-out from receiving such emails at any time. Some non-personal data (cookies, traffic) are collected so we can better understand how you use the BD and Me™ website and make it better for you.

If you identify yourself as “Professional”, we will request some more information so we can understand why this service is of interest and follow up later on. Professionals will be able to unsubscribe from any information sent to them from the BD and Me™ website via their profile.
Please click here for the full Privacy statement.

You can access the BD and Me™ website from your laptop as well as tablets and smartphones. It is compatible with main web browsers (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari Firefox). Each module has a spoken voice to guide you through the lessons. To ensure the best user experience, make sure your sound works properly.

BD and Me™ is a web-based platform so unfortunately you can’t use it without internet access. However, we are always improving our services, and we are currently planning a BD and Me™ mobile app if there is enough interest in offline use.

The BD and Me™ website is compatible with all the main web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. If the website does not display properly or the features are not working, please check that your web browser is up to date. If the issue persists, please contact us.

The BD code in the pen needles box is only valid for 3 months. After 3 months you will need to use another code from a new box.

Each country has its own specific codes for their e-learning platform. Unfortunately, codes cannot be used outside of the country of origin.
