The only personal information BD collects from users (people living with Diabetes or relatives), will be the e-mail address to be used to log into the website and to provide users who opted-in, notifications from the site, anonymized questionnaires and emails about BD products and services. At any time, users can opt-out to be removed from this site's mailing list. Non-personal data (cookies, traffic) are collected to better understand BD and Me™ website use so we can make it better. For those identified as "Professionals", more information (Full name, job title, place of work, email address and phone number) will be requested to enable us to understand to whom this service is of interest and to follow up on the service we offer. On their user profile page, Professionals will be able to unsubscribe from any information sent to them from the BD and Me™ mailing list. All users ("Patients" or "Professionals") can delete their BD and Me™ account in their user profile page. Accounts are automatically deleted when for more than 2 year. BD does not share personal information with third parties and takes appropriate actions to protect personal information from loss, unauthorized access, use, modification or disclosure and against other misuse.
